Taipei Adventist American School is accredited by the North American branch of the Seventh-day Adventist education network.

Founded in 1872, this network is the largest Protestant private education system in the world with over 7,790 universities, colleges, high schools, and elementary schools serving the needs of more than 1.8 million students. In the United States alone there are over 1,100 schools in all 50 states.

The mission of TAAS is to provide American education to Taiwanese and international students with foreign passports. Its curriculum, teachers, and educational environment are equivalent to an American-based school. This level of quality and professionalism allows its students to enter American schools and universities on the same terms as
domestic students.
